Abhinav Trivedi has been appointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Capital Limited.
Trivedi has over two decades of experience across capital markets, wealth management, financial markets, strategy, governance and business transformation.
Prior to his new role, he served as Executive Director and Head - Capital Market Products at Standard Chartered Bank India.
In this position, he led the Capital Markets business across the retail and SME segments, covering foreign exchange, lending against securities, fixed income securities and depository services.
Over his career with Standard Chartered, Trivedi has held several senior leadership positions, including MD and CEO of Standard Chartered Securities India, Business Planning Manager to the CEO, India, and Director, Financial Markets Sales.
