Madhwani, Co-founder, Woohoo Screens, shares about the brand's journey and how DOOH has helped the brand reach its targets

Regional growth is the flavour of the season. Be it for tech giants like Google or social media companies like Facebook. OOH like any other industry is also upbeat about the space and is investing in regional markets to tap the reach the space offers.

One such regional OOH player is Woohoo Screen, a Gujarat-based company, which has been doing their bit in the industry by providing end-to-end solutions. “WooHoo is the latest medium of connecting with the people of city. Started around 4.5 years ago, Woohoo Screens has installed over 300 of HD LED Screens placed at locations attracting high footfall,” Monik Madhwani, Co-founder of the brand told exchange4media.

Citing an example and stating why it is a brilliant medium to advertise, Madhwani said: “Malls, multiplexes, commercial complexes, textile markets, restaurants, food joints, residential towers etc., get maximum traction for us. Attractive Video Ads with informative content will be displayed via these screens reaching a huge volume of audience, making it a brilliant medium to advertise.”

“Ads created with us or via us can strongly attract your target audience to you or your products/services. With Woohoo screens our main focus is only Digital OOH,” Madhwani suggested.

Started 4.5 years ago in Surat, Madhwani shared that people in Gujarat were aware about traditional OOH but we brought DOOH to life in Surat. “It took us a long time to convince people about the existence of DOOH as a medium and how it has a better reach. We installed multiple DOOH screens throughout the city, including malls, multiplexes, corporate parks and that’s how people started noticing digital screens. We got an edge over other media owner as we were amongst the first one to bring it to the city. We use technology to control screens and all the screens are centrally controlled.”

With more than 300 screens installed in Gujarat, Woohoo Screens has many big brands in their kitty - from Honda, Maruti Suzuki, Big Bazaar, Sony, Central Bank, LIC to name a few associated with the company.

When asked about the y-o-y growth, Monik shared, “We have grown 2X and are only expecting to evolve as the company is in the nascent stage.”
