Star Plus maintains top spot in Urban Market in BARC Week 22

As per the weekly data, Dangal continues to lead in the combined (U+R) and rural markets

BARC has come up with the data for Week 22. Dangal continues to lead the top ten channel list in the Hindi GEC (U+R) market. The channel has registered 1225575 (000s) impressions followed by Star Plus with 762934 (000s) impressions.

Sony Sab is on the third spot with 642237 (000s) impressions. Big Magic and Star Utsav have bagged the fourth and fifth spots with 640599 (000s) impressions and 407370 (000s) impressions respectively. 

In the top programme list of this week, Dangal’s Baba Aiso Var Dhundo has become the most watched show with 17748 (000s) impressions followed by DD National’s Shri Krishna and Dangal’s Mahima Shanidev Ki on the second and third spots with 17089 (000s) impressions and 14130 (000s) impressions respectively.

Star Plus’ Mahabharat bagged fourth spot with 11413 (000s) impressions and Dangal’s Ramayan on fifth spot with 10763 (000s) impressions. 

Hindi GEC Urban 

In this market, Star Plus continues to be the most watched channel in week 22 in the Hindi GEC Urban market. The channel has registered 521169 (000s) impressions followed by Sony Sab on the second spot with 428556 (000s) impressions and Dangal on third with 297265 (000s) impressions. Colors and Star Utsav are at number four and five with 292755 (000s) and 251962 (000s) impressions. 

In the top five programmes, DD National’s Shri Krishna has ranked first with 8912 (000s) impressions followed by Star Plus’ Mahabharat on the second spot with 7429 (000s) impressions and Devon Ke Dev Mahadev on third with 4009 (000s) impressions. Ramayan on the same channel and Baba Aiso Var Dhundo on Dangal have bagged the fourth and fifth positions with 3929 (000s) impressions and 3923 (000s) impressions respectively. 

Hindi GEC Rural 

Dangal continues to lead the rural market with 928309 (000s) impressions followed by Big Magic with 485097 (000s) impressions and Star Plus on the third spot with 241764 (000s) impressions. Sony Sab and DD National are fourth and fifth spot with 213680 (000s) and 166664 (000s) impressions. 

In the top five programmes, Dangal’s Baba Aiso Var Dhundo has ranked number one with 13826 (000s) followed by Mahima Shanidev Ki on the same channel with 10989 (000s) impressions and Ramayan on Dangal at spot three with 8336 (000s) impressions. DD National’s Shri Krishna has bagged the fourth spot with 8177 (000s) impressions and Dangal’s Rakt Sambandh is on fifth with 6977 (000s) impressions.
