Mails written to India Today for confirmaton did not elicit any response, however, employees confirmed the development and said they are devastated by the news. While the employees haven’t received any official confirmation on the same, many of them have been told about the development either by their reporting manager or HR personnel.
According to some employees of the tabloid e4M reached out to, the HR has mentioned that some employees will be retained by the group in their other publications/new outfits. However no confirmation or assurance on the same has been provided, said employees on the condition of anonymity.
It was only last year that the group’s opinion website DailyO shut down operations, and sacked its entire editorial staff.
