Sanjay Nagpal quits India Today Group to join another media group

Nagpal was associated with India Today Group (owned by TV Today) for more than seven-and-a-half years

The Chief Information Officer of Digital, India Today, Sanjay Nagpal, is all set to join another leading media house soon.

His last day at the India Today Group was on Monday, October 2024, though the conversations were on for more than 45 days.

Hearsay suggests he may be joining the Times Group. If this is true, it will be his second stint with Times as his former association with the Group was from May 2003 to March 2007, where he was responsible for the technology side of business as their Chief Manager.

Nagpal was associated with India Today Group (owned by TV Today) for more than seven-and-a-half years. His association started with the media house in April 2017.

Prior to that, he was the Chief Technology Officer of Bag It Today for more than seven years.

His first stint with India Today Group lasted a decade from March 2007 to March 2017. Here, he was the Senior General Manager.

In the past, Nagpal has also worked with organisations like Archies, Asiatic, NDPS Computers, JVG Finance and more.

Nagpal’s LinkedIn describes him as a, “Technocrat well versed with Internet/Web Technologies, Technology Infrastructure, Architecture Designing, Application Development, Deployment, Implementation, Project Management. He has significant experience in driving alignment of IT with business, defining IT strategy and Road Map, creating Online Technologies from Scratch, Optimising IT, Driving compliance in IT, Budgeting, Technology Evaluation and execution of multiple & big projects.
