Bikaji Foods International Limited has announced the passing of its founder, Shiv Ratan Agarwal, who also served as Chairman, Promoter and Whole-Time Director. He died on 23 April 2026, the company said in a regulatory filing.
Agarwal was described as “a guiding force of the Company since its inception and had built the foundation of the brand ‘Bikaji’.” He played a key role in transforming a traditional Bikaneri snacks business into an internationally recognised name by combining authentic products with modern business practices.
Following his passing, Agarwal will cease to be part of the Promoter/Promoter Group of the Company, in line with regulatory requirements.
The board of directors, management and employees expressed their condolences to Agarwal’s family, describing his death as an irreparable loss to the organisation.
