Prithwish Ganguly has quit Yash Raj Films and is likely to join Birla Studios as Head of Talent, according to sources familiar with the development.
Ganguly was serving as Vice President – Talent & Communications Strategy at YRF, where he played a key role in the studio’s talent management and communications ecosystem. He had been associated with the company since 2017.
Over the years, he worked closely on artist relations, talent strategy, film communications and brand partnerships, becoming one of the prominent executives within YRF’s talent and studio operations.
Before joining YRF, Ganguly held roles across journalism, entertainment marketing and studio businesses, with previous stints at Reuters, DNA, Times of India, UTV, Disney and Fox Star Studios.
