Nazara Technologies reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue of ₹803 crore in Q2FY27, up 53% year-on-year, as the consolidation of Bluetile and BestPlay and growth across its gaming portfolio lifted the company’s performance. EBITDA rose 93% to ₹120 crore, with margin expanding 311 basis points to 14.9%.
Profit after tax from continuing operations stood at ₹35 crore, compared with a loss of ₹34 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. For the first half of FY27, revenue rose 20% to ₹1,232 crore, while EBITDA increased 52% to ₹166 crore.
Gaming remained the company’s primary growth engine, with segment revenue rising 122% to ₹656 crore and accounting for 82% of consolidated revenue. The segment posted an EBITDA margin of 21.5%, while mobile gaming revenue grew 167% to ₹550 crore.
The quarter was the first to include Bluetile and BestPlay, consolidated from August 1. Together, the businesses generated ₹329 crore in revenue during their first two months under Nazara, up 49% over the comparable period, while EBITDA rose 64% to ₹64 crore.
Nazara said AI is increasingly being deployed across its shared Centres of Excellence in marketing, data, product and technology. Its marketing operation produced more than 290 ad creatives for three studios in a single month, while the company has also introduced an AI-ready data stack across the group.
Among existing businesses, Kiddopia revenue grew 21%, helped by a 5% increase in subscribers and an 8% rise in average revenue per user, while Curve Games reported a 27% increase in revenue and 61% growth in EBITDA.
Nazara also strengthened its leadership during the quarter, appointing Raymond A. Stauffer as CEO in September, followed by Mithun Sacheti as Executive Director and Arun Agarwal as CFO in October.
For the advertising and gaming ecosystem, the more interesting development is Nazara’s effort to centralise AI-assisted user acquisition, creative production and data capabilities across its portfolio, potentially allowing acquired studios to scale marketing without building those functions independently.
