FICCI Frames 2020 postponed over Coronavirus concerns
Italy, which currently is in lockdown over the coronavirus epidemic, was roped in as the partner country for the event
FICCI Frames 2020 has been reportedly postponed in the wake of the coronavirus crisis. The organisers of the international convention have issued a message on the official FICCI website about the move:
“In view of the public health concerns and the recent advisory of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, which has strongly recommended to avoid mass gatherings, FICCI has decided to postpone FICCI FRAMES 2020. While it is indeed a big disappointment for all of us at FICCI and the media community in India and the rest of the world, we have chosen to take this decision in the best interest of our participants.
We look forward to coming to you very shortly with the new dates for FICCI FRAMES”
The event will now be postponed from its original date of March 18, 2020. Italy, which is currently the epicentre of coronavirus epidemic in Europe, had been roped in as the partner country. A large delegation of Italian filmmakers and media were also expected to attend the event.
As of now, the new date for FICCI FRAMES 2020 has not been announced by the organisers. For more updates, be socially connected with us on
