Pitch CMO Summit Bangalore 2019

The Pitch CMO Summit Bangalore, a flagship property of the exchange4media group, will play host to marketers across industries as they gather to breakdown the process of the brand building experience. The theme for the Bangalore Summit this year is ‘Demystifying Brand Building Experience’. At par with the broader theme, the summit will host two key panel discussions.

The topic for the first panel discussion is ‘Survival of the Fittest: How Brands can win in the ‘Digital Age’. Digital Marketing is now at its peak with the e-commerce market in India growing at an annual rate of 51%, the highest in the world. With a plethora of options available to the digital consumer, brands struggle in their way to keep pace with the decreasing attention span of the consumers. So what is it that successful brands do differently on digital? Here, marketers decipher the art of engaging the digital audience and understand the consumer’s perspective in terms of what helps them connect with a brand.

This session will be moderated by Ramesh Jude Thomas, President & Chief Knowledge Officer, EQUiTOR Value Advisory. The esteemed panellists are Aarti B Iyer, Marketing Head, Unibic; Ashutosh Vaidya, Chief Marketing Officer, Kurl-on; Mangesh Panditrao – CEO, Shoptimize; Meera Iyer, Chief Marketing Officer, Medlife.com; Samyukta Ganesh Iyer, Head of Marketing, Baskin Robbins India and Suneil Chawla, Co-founder, Social Beat & Influencer.in

The second panel discussion will discuss the topic, ‘Consistent vs. Persistent: The Long Term Growth Plan’. The rapidly evolving consumer behaviour throws light on the importance of one key aspect for brands- To be consistent or to be persistent? The rise in social media and content marketing efforts has further sparked the need for brands to devise strategies that keep the brand at the top of consumers’ minds. Here marketers discuss the secret to long-term brand building success. Should it be consistency? Or persistence? Or a combination of the two? (If so, what are the parameters where it should be consistent vs. persistent)?

This session will be moderated by Kishankumar Shyamalan, Vice President, Wavemaker India. The esteemed panellists are Amit Doshi, Chief Marketing Officer, Lenovo India; Amitabh Pande, Marketing Head, IKEA India; Anurag Kumar, Chief Communications Officer, Tata Sky; Raagaleena Sripada, Marketing Head (bbdaily & bbinstant), bigbasket; Ramita Chaudhuri, Chief Marketer, Mahou India; Sridhar Aranala, Vice President – Sales and Distribution, The Hindu Group and M Yeshwanth Nag is the Co-Founder of The ThickShake Factory.
