The days are inching closer for the forthcoming conference on Mobile Marketing – Screenage that is set to take place on October 31 in Mumbai. The event will see discussions on the effective measures for a fruitful mobile marketing strategy, such that brand marketers in India can allocate more funds to mobile marketing and therefore bridge the gap between consumer behaviour and mobile marketing budget.
At the Mobile Marketing - Screenage conference leading Indian experts of content, digital and mobile marketing will discuss on the theme ‘Mobile marketing: Claiming a bigger share of the marketer’s purse’. The full-day conference will have keynote sessions by industry experts, panel discussions with digital marketing heads & CEOs, a fireside chat and speaker sessions by top brands followed by the awards night that makes up for high brand visibility and great networking opportunities.
The fireside chat session will be chaired by Ashish Bhasin, Chairman & CEO, Dentsu Aegis Network South Asia. A total of three Panel Discussions, two keynote speaker sessions and four standalone sessions are to be held at the event. Keynote speaker Unnat Verma- Managing Director, Pizza Hut (India Subcon) - Yum Restaurants International will cover the topic ‘Consumer Engagement in a Mobile Centric World’. He will address every advertisers’ challenge of engaging with multi-screen users in order to build trustworthy brands in a mobile first world. The session will also include details on how to engage consumers through emerging mobile technologies and the check and balances to ascertain effective growth in the mobile marketing pie. The second keynote speaker session will discuss the topic ‘Leveraging Mobile to deliver on Business Objectives’ setting the agenda for utilising mobile both as a platform and channel to drive growth.
The first panel discussion at the event will be moderated by Sanjay Trehan, Digital & New Media Consultant, and will cover the topic ‘Brand building on Mobile Only: A Reality or Myth? Industry experts at the e4m conference will discuss if mobile is strong enough to become a medium of brand building and if not where is the gap. And if mobile marketing has become all about social media.
The second panel discussion revolves around the topic ‘Journey to the Next Mobile Frontier’, wherein the discussion will be based on utility apps, mobile audio, explosion of entertainment options in OTT video and innovation shaping up the app-mania indigenously. The first standalone speaker session will cover the topic ‘The mCommerce Opportunity’ discussing if brands and the mobile ecosystem was working together to fully realise the mCommerce Opportunity. The second standalone session will include a thorough brainstorming conversation on the topic ‘The Mobile Wallet Wars’ picking up on which providers were best in the market: Mobile payments, staging Digital Wallets & the New Changes; Building a Mobile Service through Partnership and Innovation. The third standalone session talks about ‘The Mobile Marketing Performance Dilemma’ discussing how can marketing professionals decode the measurement puzzle to indicate the ROI in mobile. The panel will also suggest ways on what can be done to grow the mobile marketing spends in India.
Lastly, the fourth session will involve speakers conversing on the topic ‘Tech first to be mobile ready’. It will include an in-depth dialogue on how CTOs, product heads and other disciplines are working together to ensure being in line with progress in technology to make most of the mobile ecosystem and what have been the tech lessons from mobile experiences so far.
