Jimmy Donaldson, widely known as MrBeast, has reportedly become the world’s first content creator to achieve the billionaire status, according to Celebrity Net Worth. The platform estimates his net worth at $1 billion as of 2024.

MrBeast started uploading videos to YouTube from his home in North Carolina during his teenage years. His early viral success came in 2017 with a video titled “I Counted to 100,000,” which took over 44 hours to record and has accumulated more than 30 million views to date.

Over time, MrBeast built a sizable digital following by producing videos featuring large-scale challenges, cash giveaways, and philanthropic activities.

MrBeast has diversified his business ventures across various sectors. In December 2020, he launched MrBeast Burger, a virtual fast-food chain operating through ghost kitchens. While the venture reportedly achieved significant revenue milestones, Mr Beast filed a lawsuit in 2023 against Virtual Dining Concepts, alleging that subpar food quality and service were harming his brand's reputation.

In January 2022, MrBeast introduced Feastables, a snack brand that includes products like chocolate bars and cookies. According to Axios, Feastables generated over $10 million in revenue within its initial months 

MrBeast also co-founded Juice Funds in collaboration with Creative Juice. This $2 million investment initiative offers up to $250,000 to digital creators, aiming to support their growth and content development.

In addition to these ventures, MrBeast has invested in cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, and owns several CryptoPunks NFTs. He has also been associated with platforms like Coinbase, Refinable, and the XCAD Network, reflecting his interest in the digital asset space.

MrBeast’s philanthropic work includes Beast Philanthropy, a nonprofit that funds large-scale social initiatives. His content has featured giveaways such as 100 vehicles, $1 million in cash prizes, and contributions to reforestation campaigns through Team Trees, which raised $20 million.

In 2023, he was the subject of online criticism after funding eye surgeries for 1,000 individuals. Responding to the backlash, he reaffirmed his intent to donate all of his wealth over his lifetime—a statement he first made publicly in 2019.

Throughout his career, MrBeast has received multiple recognitions. He was nominated for Vlogger of the Year at the Shorty Awards in 2019 and later won both the Breakout Creator and YouTuber of the Year titles in 2020.

He ranked first on the Forbes 2024 Top Creators list. While Forbes had earlier assessed his net worth at $85 million, court filings related to a 2024 legal dispute involving his food venture revealed he earned $223 million in 2023 and projected revenue of $700 million for 2024.
