The promotional video is designed to spotlight its relationship as the “new home” of Formula 1 in United State. Posted on Cook’s X account, the short clip begins with Cook cruising through Apple Park in a golf cart. Suddenly, Max Verstappen who is nearby sitting in a Formula 1 car directs the pit crew towards Cook. Within seconds, a full pit crew rushes in and surrounds Cook’s cart, performing a rapid F1-style pit stop, complete with tyre changes and the precision movements usually seen during the race.
The pit area is humorously labelled “Tim Box Box,” a nod to the radio call teams use to tell drivers to come into the pits.
Cook leaned into the joke when sharing the clip, thanking Verstappen for the “tune-up” and suggesting that maybe next time they could race.

The tech giant recently secured a five-year agreement to stream Formula 1 races exclusively on Apple TV in the United States starting in 2026. Under the deal, Apple TV will provide comprehensive coverage of the championship, including practice sessions, qualifying rounds and the main Grands Prix. The partnership builds upon the Apple’s strong relationship with Formula 1 after the box office success of F1 The Movie.
With the Formula 1 season now in full swing, Apple seems keen to celebrate its connection to the sport in its own distinctive style.
