Instagram has introduced a new initiative to celebrate creators who push boundaries and redefine cultural trends. Today, the platform announced the launch of its “Rings” award, designed to recognise 25 creators who don’t just participate in culture — "they transform it".

Each winner will receive a literal gold ring along with a matching badge on their Instagram profile, symbolizing their achievement and status as trailblazers. The award aims to recognize creators who break through barriers to realize their ambitions, spanning fields like art, technology, fashion, and media.

Winners will be chosen by a panel of distinguished judges, including Instagram chief Adam Mosseri, filmmaker Spike Lee, designer Marc Jacobs, and tech influencer Marques Brownlee. The panel seeks to highlight creators whose work engages audiences while shifting cultural conversations in meaningful ways.

Instagram’s Rings award marks the platform’s latest effort to deepen engagement with its creator community while highlighting individuals whose influence extends beyond traditional metrics. The program underscores the growing emphasis on celebrating creativity, impact, and originality across social media.
