The Advertising Club Bangalore conducts Ad Quiz 2019
Eight teams qualified for the finals after answering 26 questions in the preliminary round which was also very closely contested
The Advertising Club of Bangalore with a focus of bringing together the media, marketing, and advertising professionals on a single platform organised Ad Quiz 2019 on May 24 at ECA Hall, Indiranagar Bangalore.
Venkatesh Srinivasan of Nexus Consulting donned the role of the Quiz Master and the questions were based on the advertising world.
The Quiz had 45 teams participating from various Advertising & Media agencies like JWT, Lowe Lintas, Disha Communications, Pink Lemonade, Group M, Position 2, Wat Media, Adverb, Stir Online and corporates like Titan, TCS, Amazon, Jockey India and Tata Tea, among others.
Naveen Kumar of Sai Mitra Constructions and Jayakanthan R of TCS bagged the first prize of Rs 25,000. The second prize of Rs 15,000 was won by Dharmendra and Tanmay Prusty of Amazon. The third prize was won by Sethu Madhavan of Goldman Sachs & Mukunth Raghavan of Capgemini.
Speaking on the occasion, Arvind Kumar, Executive Director, The Advertising Club Bangalore, said, "The Advertising Club has been organizing Ad Quiz for many years. One of our early quiz programmes was conducted by Derek O Brien at the Tata Auditorium. We are pleased with the response for this quiz and plan to organize one every 6 months.”

The audience also participated in large numbers and won many prizes from Titan, Sleep Well, Naturals, Tata Cha, Smoor Chocolates, Jockey and Bier Library.
