PM Narendra Modi sent stunned his 53.5 million followers on Monday, after he announced his decision to quit social media. Through his Twitter account, he expressed his decision to quit Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, and promised to keep his fans posted about the developments.

 The PM will be “quitting” social media to let inspirational women take over his accounts. He has also  urged his fans to send him stories of inspirational women on his Twitter or Instagram accounts.
