BARC Week 37: Ecommerce giants Amazon and Flipkart lead Top 10 brands
In the same week, in BARC Top 10 Advertisers, FMCG brands Hindustan Lever and Reckitt Benckiser continued to reign the top two spots
In the BARC Top 10 Brands for Week 37 (September 8-14) Amazon climbed to the top spot with 17,087 insertions. Flipkart which forayed the category last week also moved up to second spot with 11,448 insertions. Trivago and Dettol Toilet Soaps also stepped up to third and fourth spot with 10,795 and 9505 insertions respectively.
Santoor Sandal and Turmeric slipped to fifth spot with 9399 insertions. Wipe, Roop Mantra Ayur Face Cream and Vivo V11 Pro entered the category at sixth, seventh and eighth spot with 8716, 8622 and 8404 insertions respectively.
Dettol Cool Soap slipped to ninth spot with 8021 insertions. Colgate Dental Cream forayed the category in tenth spot with 7978 insertions.
In the same week, in BARC Top 10 Advertisers, FMCG brands Hindustan Lever and Reckitt Benckiser continued to reign with first two top positions with 1,38,091 and 88,330 insertions respectively. ITC Ltd climbed to third spot with 33,727 insertions. Procter & Gamble slipped to fourth spot with 31,330 insertions. Amazon Online India climbed to fifth spot with 30,291 insertions.
Godrej Consumer Products and Cadburys India forayed into this category after a while at sixth and seventh spot with 29,681 and 25,027 insertions respectively.
Smithkline Beecham climbed to eighth spot with 24,624 insertions. Brooke Bond Lipton India slipped to ninth spot with 22,710 insertions. Marico entered the category at the tenth spot with 22,708 insertions.
