Starbucks appoints Brady Brewer as CMO

In his new role, Brewer will report directly to the company’s COO, Roz Brewer

Starbucks has reportedly appointed Brady Brewer as its new CMO. According to media reports, CEO Kevin Johnson announced the appointment through a letter to Starbucks employees. As CMO, Brewer will report directly to the company’s COO, Roz Brewer, the letter mentioned.

In his new role, Brewer will oversee the international coffee chain’s marketing plans and manage its food and beverage portfolio. He will also focus on areas like digital customer experience, creative and brand management, data analytics and consumer insights. Brewer replaces former CMO Mathew Ryan.

He has been associated with the international coffee chain for almost two decades, since July 2001 when he joined as a marketing manager. Prior to his appointment Brewer was SVP of Digital Customer Experience.
