Nissan brings changes in senior management

Yasuhiro Yamauchi elevated as Chief Operating Officer

Nissan has announced changes in its senior management, as per media reports. 

While Yasuhiro Yamauchi has been promoted as Chief Operating Officer, Asako Hoshino, Hitoshi Kawaguchi and Kunio Nakaguro have been elevated as Executive Vice-Presidents.

Meanwhile, Daniele Schillaci will be stepping down as Executive Vice President, Global Marketing and Sales, Zero Emission Vehicle and Battery Business. He was also Chairman of Management Committee for Japan/A&O. 

As chairman of the management committee for Japan and Asia and Oceania regions, Schillaci was responsible for overseeing operations like manufacturing, engineering, design, sales and marketing, administration and finance.
