Narendra Tripathi joins Small Screen as Director, Business Development
Tripathi has previously worked with NDTV, Channel 7 (now News 18 India) and Channel V
Small Screen Film & Television has appointed Narendra Tripathi as Director, Business Development.
Tripathi brings with him extensive experience across sales, marketing and driving content ideas in his previous roles at NDTV, Channel 7 (now News 18 India), Channel V, as well as with start-ups such as Indya.com and Radio Stations Radio Mirchi and Radio Mantra. He played a key role in the launch of NDTV Good Times, Indian television industry’s first lifestyle channel.
Commenting on the move, Tripathi said, “With 4G-powered smartphones in every hand, the rules of content consumption are being rewritten in India. Small Screen has proven itself to be a nimble player, which has managed to produce quality content at scale – whether it is for television or digital platforms. Multi-faceted media companies like Small Screen will lead the content production space in the years to come. I’m looking forward to being part of this journey and deliver value to Small Screen’s television, digital and OTT partners.”
