The Media Edge, Kolkata has bagged the media duties for Kolkata-based writing instruments brand Linc Pens’ multi-crore business.
Mukul Bahadur Singh, General Manager, Marketing, Linc Pens, said, “In the light of rapid growth plans that the company has, we felt an increasing need for strategic inputs in the media space and hence, this appointment.”
Raj Datta, Associate Media Director, The Media Edge, Kolkata, said, “We look forward to making a difference on the account and would like to partner our client from strength to strength.”
It may be recalled that earlier this year, Rediffusion DY&R, Kolkata, had bagged the creative duties for Linc Pens following a multi-agency pitch.
Besides having a wide range of their own, Linc also has a strategic alliance with Mitsubishi Pencil Company of Japan to market their Uniball range in India, and has recently forayed into retailing as well with ‘Just Linc’ and ‘Office Linc’ stores.
