vivo India has elevated Geetaj Channana to the role of Chief Corporate Communications Officer, marking a promotion within the organisation. Channana shared the development in a post on LinkedIn.

Prior to this elevation, Channana served as Head of Corporate Communications at the company. He joined vivo India in March 2020 and has since been leading the brand’s corporate communications, reputation management and strategic storytelling initiatives in the country.

With close to three decades of experience, Channana brings extensive expertise spanning media, public relations, digital communications and corporate communications. Over the past two decades, his professional journey has included roles across journalism, PR consulting and corporate leadership, shaping his perspective on storytelling, brand building and reputation management within the technology sector.

Before joining vivo India, Channana worked with global communications firms including MSL and Archetype, where he partnered with international technology brands on integrated communications and reputation management.

He began his career in technology journalism, working with organisations such as CyberMedia, International Data Group and NDTV.
