Ujjwal Jain has stepped down from his role as Chief Executive Officer of Share.Market at PhonePe after leading the platform for four years. He shared the update through a post on LinkedIn.

In his post, Jain reflected on his journey over the past decade. He mentioned that when he first started, he was unsure about the outcome but strongly believed in the mission. What began with WealthDesk eventually grew into a larger ecosystem that included OpenQ and Share.Market at PhonePe, all focused on improving retail investing and strengthening India’s capital markets.

He described this journey as years of hard work, innovation, and building platforms that opened up new opportunities for investors.

Looking ahead, Jain said he is entering his next phase with greater confidence and clarity. He emphasized that this is not the end, but a new beginning, with bigger goals in mind.

Jain joined PhonePe in 2022 after his startups, WealthDesk and OpenQ, were acquired by the company.
