Tejinder Gill has been promoted to Vice President for Southeast Asia and India at The Trade Desk, marking an expansion of his leadership responsibilities beyond his previous role as Managing Director for India. Based in Singapore, Gill will now steer the company’s next phase of growth across two of Asia’s fastest-evolving digital advertising markets.

Gill has been instrumental in building The Trade Desk’s India business over the past several years. As General Manager and later Managing Director, he led market expansion, strengthened partnerships with advertisers and agencies, and drove adoption of programmatic advertising solutions. His leadership has been closely tied to the company’s positioning in India’s competitive ad tech ecosystem.

With over 15 years of experience in digital media and advertising, Gill brings a strong track record in scaling businesses and building revenue streams. Before joining The Trade Desk, he held senior leadership roles at Truecaller, where he helped establish and grow its global advertising business across regions including South Asia, Middle East and Africa. His earlier stints include leadership positions at LinkedIn, Yahoo, and The Times of India, where he focused on digital sales and marketing solutions.
