Siddharth Parakh has been appointed as Head - Strategy & Business Development at Britannia. The company shared the news of his appointment in a regulatory filing. His role will be effective from today, i.e. August 3, 2026.
The appointment was approved by the company's Board of Directors through a circular resolution on August 2, following the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee. “Based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, the Board of Directors of the Company vide their Circular Resolution passed today i.e., 2nd August, 2026 at 5:55 P.M. IST, have approved the appointment of Mr. Siddharth Parakh as the Head - Strategy & Business Development of the Company with effect from 3rd August, 2026’, the stock exchange filing said.
Parakh brings over 13 years of diverse experience in Corporate Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Investments and Capital Allocation. Prior to joining Britannia, he was part of the Group CFO & Group Strategy Office at Tata Sons, where he worked on Strategic Initiatives, Investments and M&A across the Tata Group of Companies for the last 4.5 years.
Prior to joining Tata Group, Siddharth worked as an Assistant Vice President in the investment banking team at Edelweiss (Nuvama) where he advised Indian and global clients on M&A, Corporate Finance and Fund Raising activities across several sectors including consumer, new age businesses, information technology and healthcare. He has also worked with the organizations like MAPE Advisory Group, Grant Thornton & PwC, advising on Corporate Finance & several Marquee Transactions.
