  • Rajesh Madampath has been promoted to Chief Business Officer – BCA at Times Group, while retaining his position as Chief Revenue Officer – Sports & Special Projects.
  • In his new role, he will oversee the BCA's P&L, strategic direction, business growth, and overall performance, managing various departments including sales, client servicing, and marketing.
  • Madampath has over 24 years of experience with The Times Group, having successfully led multiple revenue portfolios and strategic initiatives that contributed to the organization's success.
  • He will report to Ashish Sehgal, CEO of Times Television Network, while continuing to collaborate with other executives for special projects and the Pickleball vertical.

Times Group has announced the elevation of Rajesh Madampath as Chief Business Officer – BCA, with immediate effect, in addition to his current role as Chief Revenue Officer – Sports & Special Projects.

In his expanded role, Rajesh will lead the BCA as Business Head and be responsible for managing P&L, driving its strategic direction, business growth, and overall performance. Apart from managing the sales department, he will also be managing client servicing, content, guest coordination, production, marketing alongside promos & graphics. He will work closely with the leadership team to strengthen the business, deepen customer engagement, and accelerate revenue growth, according to an internal company announcement.

Rajesh has been associated with The Times Group for over 24 years and has consistently demonstrated strong execution capabilities, and an unwavering commitment to delivering results. Over the years, he has successfully led multiple revenue portfolios, spearheaded strategic growth initiatives, and built several high-impact sponsorship properties that have contributed significantly to the organisation's success. His deep understanding of the business, proven leadership, and ability to build and scale high-performing teams make him well positioned to lead the next phase of growth for the BCA business.

For his responsibilities as Revenue Head – Government Sales and Business Head – BCA including Government Sales, Rajesh will report to Mr. Ashish Sehgal, CEO – Times Television Network.

For Special Projects, he will continue to work directly with Mr. N. Subramanian, Executive Director and Group CEO, The Times Group. For the Pickleball vertical, Rajesh will continue to work closely with Sameer Pathak, President – Pickleball, and Rohit Gopakumar, CEO – Digital and Entertainment.
