Dibyendu Panda appointed Chief Business Officer at Wooden Street

Wooden Street has appointed Dibyendu Panda as its new Chief Business Officer (CBO) to enhance its leadership team amid plans for omnichannel expansion.
Panda brings nearly 20 years of experience in retail and business operations, having previously worked with major companies including Reliance Industries, Sony India, and Wakefit.
Prior to joining Wooden Street, he contributed significantly to the growth of Wakefit's offline retail network and physical store presence.
Lokendra Ranawat highlighted Panda's retail expertise and execution skills as key assets for Wooden Street's growth and customer experience improvement.

Wooden Street has appointed Dibyendu Panda as its new Chief Business Officer (CBO), further strengthening its leadership team as the company plans to expand its omnichannel business.

Panda comes with close to 20 years of experience in retail, business growth and operations. During his career, he has worked with companies such as Reliance Industries, VIP Industries, Sony India, BlueStone and Wakefit.

Before joining Wooden Street, Panda was associated with Wakefit, where he played an important role in growing the brand’s offline retail network and strengthening its physical store presence.

Speaking about his new role, Dibyendu Panda said Wooden Street stands out in the furniture and home décor market because of its mix of quality craftsmanship, affordability and scale. He added that he looks forward to using his experience to strengthen existing revenue streams, explore new business opportunities and improve the customer experience across stores.

Commenting on the appointment, Lokendra Ranawat said Panda’s strong retail background and execution skills make him an important addition to the company’s leadership team. He added that Panda’s experience in scaling businesses and understanding customer-focused retail will help Wooden Street in its next phase of growth and expansion.
