Rajiv Bajaj to step down from Bajaj Finance board after current term

Bajaj Finance has announced that Rajiv Bajaj will step down from its board upon completion of his current term, according to an exchange filing. He has chosen not to seek reappointment and will no longer continue as a Non-Executive Director of the company.

As per the BSE filing dated April 29, 2026, Rajiv Bajaj, who remains the managing director of Bajaj Auto, has conveyed his decision not to stand for re-election at the forthcoming annual general meeting.

As a result, he will officially cease to be a board member of Bajaj Finance at the conclusion of the AGM, scheduled for Thursday, July 30, 2026, after business hours.

The company did not mention any specific reason for his exit apart from the completion of his tenure and acknowledged his valuable contributions during his time on the board.
