Veteran industry leader Ravikant Sabnavis has stepped down as CEO of Arha Media & Broadcasting Pvt. Ltd., bringing to a close a three-year tenure at their OTT platform AHA focused on Telugu and Tamil-speaking audiences.

“He has already served his notice period which ended in the first week of April,” sources privy to the development told e4m. His next move was not immediately clear. There is no clarity over the next CEO either.

Sabnavis, a seasoned business leader with over three decades of experience, played a key role in building and scaling the AHA platform in the competitive regional streaming space.

While Arha media officials didn’t respond over the development, Sabnavis confirmed the development.

He remarked, "Over the past three years, we achieved what we set out to do — a meaningful financial turnaround that positions the organization well for the road ahead. I leave with great pride in what the team accomplished. My next chapter takes me back home to Mumbai and to my family, and I couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity I was given."

His exit marks yet another transition in a career defined by building and turning around businesses across sectors including media, FMCG, aviation, and sports marketing.

Prior to Arha Media, Sabnavis set up Innovative Oral Care, an FMCG venture for Clove Dental. He has also led notable transformations at Star Pravah and Blitz Multimedia during his stint with the UB Group.

At Kingfisher Airlines, he served as Head of Marketing, steering brand and customer experience during a challenging phase, while also overseeing global marketing and sponsorships for the Force India Formula One Team.

Earlier in his career, Sabnavis held leadership roles at Heinz India, and Agro Tech Foods.
