Ogilvy appoints Kirsty Muddle as CEO for Australia and New Zealand

- Muddle has a background in econometrics and has held leadership roles, including being a founding partner of cummins&partners, and has received multiple awards for her contributions to the industry.
Kirsty Muddle has been appointed as the CEO of Ogilvy Network ANZ. She shared the news of her new role through a LinkedIn post.
“It's an honour and a great privilege to step into this role and lead one of the world’s most admired Creative businesses, Ogilvy, across Australia and New Zealand”, the LinkedIn post read.
As per media reports, Muddle will lead Ogilvy’s operations in Australia and New Zealand, overseeing advertising, PR, social and influencer, customer engagement, consulting, and health. She is set to take on the new role at Ogilvy in early 2026.
Muddle replaces Sally Kissane, who stepped down from the ANZ CEO role in July after three decades with Ogilvy.
Muddle joins from dentsu where she currently holds the role of Chief Executive Officer, Practices & Products, ANZ. She leads a team of passionate people across creative, strategy, production, earned attention, digital experience, entertainment, public relations, content, social media, indigenous affairs, and government relations.
Kirsty started her career in Econometrics at a WPP agency in London and still maintains her love for the interplay between humans and data. She was one of the Founding Partners and CEO of cummins&partners before joining dentsu. Kirsty has been awarded Women of the Year and Executive of the Year twice, sits on the Board of the Australian council of Advertising (ACA) and Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA).
