Inderpreet Singh has moved on from Hindustan Times. Singh was the Chief Business Officer of OTTplay. The news has been shared by Singh in a LinkedIn post.

“Today marks my last day at HT. Closing out a run across three businesses, Mint Premium, HT Premium, and OTTPlay, all built, broken, and rebuilt from scratch. Each one taught me something different about building for scale, for retention, and for an audience that's ruthlessly honest about what's worth paying for. None of it was a solo act. Grateful for the teams who debated every assumption, the leadership that backed ideas before they had proof, and the partners who built alongside us,” he wrote in the post.

Singh’s departure comes months after Hindustan Media Ventures Limited decided to stop offering new subscription packs for its OTT aggregation platform OTTplay from March 31, 2026, as the company reassesses the long-term viability of the business.

Singh joined HT Media in December 2020.
