Raghu Mocherla appointed SVP Digital & Software at Hexaware

Hexaware Technologies has appointed Raghu Mocherla as Senior Vice President of Digital & Software, where he will oversee the Cyber-Physical Software and Systems portfolio.
Mocherla brings over 25 years of experience in technology services, with a strong background in product engineering, R&D, and industrial operations, previously serving at Capgemini.
His responsibilities will include shaping strategy, enhancing the portfolio, and driving growth to deliver strong outcomes for clients.
Sanjay Salunkhe, President of Digital & Software Services at Hexaware, highlighted Mocherla's expertise in product engineering and industry knowledge as crucial for the company's growth in an AI-driven market.

Hexaware Technologies has named Raghu Mocherla as Senior Vice President – Digital & Software. In his new role, he will lead the Cyber-Physical Software and Systems portfolio under the company’s Digital & Software (D&S) business. His responsibilities will include shaping the overall strategy, strengthening the portfolio, accelerating growth and ensuring strong outcomes for clients.

Raghu has more than 25 years of experience in the technology services space, with deep expertise in product engineering, R&D and industrial operations. He is widely recognised for successfully building and scaling high-impact businesses across a range of industries.

Prior to joining Hexaware, Raghu spent over a decade at Capgemini, where he held the role of Industry Head and P&L leader for the ER&D business in the Americas. In his most recent position, he oversaw sectors such as industrial manufacturing, automotive, rail, aerospace and defence, and was also part of the ER&D Americas Executive Committee.

Welcoming the appointment, Sanjay Salunkhe, President and Global Head – Digital & Software Services at Hexaware, said that Raghu brings together strong product engineering capabilities, solid industry understanding and a proven track record of growing global businesses. He added that as customers look to better integrate software, products and operations in an AI-driven world, Raghu’s leadership will play a key role in strengthening Hexaware’s Digital and Software Services and supporting the company’s next growth phase.
