Aditya Swamy has been elevated to the role of Managing Director at Google Play. Prior to this, he served as Regional Director – Google Play for India, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand for over a year.
Swamy joined Google Play in April 2017 as Industry Head, Large Customer Sales, and has since held various roles within the company.
With experience spanning technology, e-commerce, media & entertainment, and consumer packaged goods, Swamy was associated with Flipkart before joining Google Play, where he served as Senior Director, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Before that, he spent nearly a decade with Viacom18 Media Private Limited, leading multiple portfolios, and also worked with The Coca-Cola Company for eight years.
