Geeta Mohan has been elevated to Group Editor – Foreign Affairs at India Today.
Mohan has been with the organisation for several years and has reported from conflict zones including Afghanistan, Ukraine and Iran. She has also conducted high-profile interviews with global leaders and policymakers, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
Mohan has also been working on India Today Global.
In another editorial elevation, Akshita Nandagopal has been appointed Executive Editor – Output, India Today TV.
Nandagopal has been with India Today since 2019. In her new role, she will work closely with Samkhya Edamaruku, Group Managing Editor – Production, to coordinate between the Output and Production teams.
Nandagopal will report to Editorial Director Supriya Prasad.
