HeadFirst Global has appointed Viswanath PS, former Managing Director and CEO of Randstad India, as Managing Director and Country Manager for India, where he will lead the company's growth strategy and expansion in the country.

In his new role, Viswanath will oversee HeadFirst Global's India operations, with responsibility for business growth, market expansion and profit and loss (P&L) management. He will also spearhead the development and scaling of the company's Global Capability Centre (GCC) business.

His mandate includes driving strategic transformation and strengthening HeadFirst Global's workforce solutions offerings, with a focus on helping enterprises build future-ready workforces, establish GCCs and develop long-term talent strategies.

Viswanath brings more than three decades of experience across organisations including Randstad, General Electric, Motorola and the TVS Group. His career spans leadership roles in finance, strategy, operations and business management.

Before joining HeadFirst Global, he served as Managing Director and CEO of Randstad India, where he led the workforce solutions business across staffing, recruitment and employment services. He also brings expertise in labour and employment regulations, corporate compliance, taxation, and workforce models such as temporary and permanent staffing, Managed Service Provider (MSP) and Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO).

In addition to leading the India business, Viswanath will serve on HeadFirst Global's board as Managing Director, with responsibilities spanning corporate governance, sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

The appointment comes as India's workforce solutions and GCC ecosystem continues to evolve, with enterprises increasingly seeking integrated talent strategies, specialised skills and technology-enabled workforce solutions. HeadFirst Global said Viswanath's experience across staffing, business operations and workforce transformation will support its plans to scale its India operations and expand its GCC capabilities.
