Dabur India ropes in Herjit S. Bhalla as CEO - India Business

Dabur India has announced the appointment of Herjit S. Bhalla as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for its India Business, the company informed in a regulatory filing.

Bhalla, currently a global executive at The Hershey Company, will take charge from April 15, 2026. He will report to Mohit Malhotra, Whole-time Director and Global CEO of the company.

"The Board of Directors of the Company has redesignated Mr. Mohit Malhotra, Whole Time Director & Chief Executive Officer as Whole Time Director & Global Chief Executive Officer w.e.f. February 17, 2026;and upon recommendation of the Nomination & Remuneration Committee, have appointed Mr. Herjit S. Bhalla as the "Chief Executive Officer - India Business" in the category of Senior Management Personnel of the Company with effect from April 15, 2026. He shall report to Mr. Mohit Malhotra, Whole-time Director and Global Chief Executive Officer of the Company", the regulatory filing said.

Bhalla brings over 25 years of deep commercial and general management experience across diverse geographies and business contexts. He completed his B.Com (Hons.) from Delhi University in 1997 and MBA from MDI Gurugram in 2000. Between 2000 and 2016, he worked with Unilever in Sales and Marketing areas with increasing responsibilities.

During 2009-12, he was appointed as Marketing Director in Moscow, Russia in Unilever. During 2016-17, Bhalla worked as Chief Operating Officer for Metro Cash & Carry where he was also Director in the Executive Board of Directors.

In 2018, he joined The Hershey Company as Managing Director for India. Since then, he has continued with Hershey, taking over global roles since 2021 as VP India & AEMEA, VP Canada and AMEA and currently as VP Canada & Global Customers.
