  • Amara Raja Energy and Mobility Limited (ARE&M) has appointed Chandrasekar Radhakrishnan as Chief Business Officer – Automotive for India and the SAARC region.

Amara Raja Energy and Mobility Limited (ARE&M), known for its Amaron, Powerzone, and Quanta battery brands, has appointed Chandrasekar Radhakrishnan as Chief Business Officer – Automotive for India and the SAARC region. In this role, he will lead the company’s marketing efforts, strengthen brand presence, and support business growth through integrated strategies.

Chandrasekar comes with strong experience across sales, marketing, and profit and loss leadership, having worked in industries such as FMCG, telecom, and electric mobility. Before joining ARE&M, he was heading Business Growth – Emerging Mobility at Hero MotoCorp. Over the years, he has also held key roles at Coca-Cola India, Nestlé, and Bharti Airtel.

Welcoming him to the organisation, Harshavardhana Gourineni, Executive Director – Automotive and Industrial at ARE&M, said that Chandrasekar’s expertise in building brands and driving business performance makes him a valuable addition at an important phase of the company’s growth. He added that the company is confident Chandrasekar will further strengthen Amaron’s position in the market and help drive expansion across its battery and lubricants portfolio.

Speaking about his new role, Chandrasekar said he is excited to join Amara Raja at a time of transformation. He shared that he aims to reinforce Amaron’s leadership in the automotive space, deliver consistent growth, and contribute to the company’s long-term vision.
