JSW Sports elevates Himanshu Sharma to Head of Sales

JSW Sports has appointed Himanshu Sharma as Head of Sales, effective October 2026, succeeding his role as Head of Talent and Consulting.
Sharma began his career at JSW Sports as an intern and has held various positions, including client servicing and commercial sales.
He has been involved in significant milestones such as Bengaluru FC's transition to the Indian Super League and the launch of Haryana Steelers.
In his new role, Sharma aims to strengthen the sales organization and enhance value for athletes, teams, and partners, expressing gratitude to his colleagues and mentors.

JSW Sports has appointed Himanshu Sharma as Head of Sales, effective October 2026. He previously served as Head of Talent and Consulting, a position he took up in July 2023.

Sharma began his career at JSW Sports as an intern before securing a full-time role in client servicing. His subsequent responsibilities have spanned commercial sales, talent and consulting.

Reflecting on his journey, Sharma recalled how his enthusiasm for Bengaluru FC inspired him to pursue a career with the organisation. His initial six-month internship was extended before becoming a permanent position.

During his tenure, he has been associated with milestones including Bengaluru FC’s transition from the I-League to the Indian Super League, the launch of Haryana Steelers and JSW’s involvement with Delhi Capitals.

In his new role, Sharma said his priorities include building a strong sales organisation and creating greater value for athletes, teams, sports properties and partners. He also thanked colleagues and mentors for their guidance and trust throughout his career.
