- Lohia previously held the position of Senior Vice President at Paytm and has experience in leadership roles at Paytm Money and One97 Communications India Limited.
- Vibhor Jain, Acting CEO and COO of ONDC, highlighted Lohia's expertise in digital business and e-commerce as vital for the network's growth.

The Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) has reportedly appointed Rohit Lohia as its new Chief Business Officer (CBO).
Before joining ONDC, Lohia served as Senior Vice President at Paytm (One97 Communications Limited). During his career, he also held leadership roles at Paytm Money and One97 Communications India Limited. Earlier, he co-founded startups in the fintech and e-commerce sectors and worked as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
According to media reports, Vibhor Jain, Acting CEO and COO of ONDC, said Lohia's experience in building and expanding digital businesses, along with his strong understanding of the e-commerce ecosystem, will support the network's next phase of growth. He added that Lohia's expertise will help strengthen the ONDC ecosystem and create long-term value for all participants.
Speaking about his new role, Rohit Lohia said he aims to build an ecosystem that promotes transparency, innovation, and operational excellence. He added that he looks forward to working with stakeholders across the network to help small businesses grow and create greater value for both sellers and buyers through open digital commerce.
