The Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) has announced the appointment of Sunil J Singhi as an Independent Director on its Board.
The company informed about the latest development through a LinkedIn post. "We are privileged to welcome Shri Sunil Singhi ji, Chairman, National Traders' Welfare Board, as an Independent Director on the Board of ONDC", the post read.
"With his guidance, ONDC will continue to accelerate its mission of creating a more inclusive, transparent, and accessible digital commerce network for every Indian – from the smallest local seller to the remotest consumer", the company stated the post.
Singhi currently chairs the National Traders’ Welfare Board. He brings decades of experience in serving the nation through grassroots welfare initiatives and policy advisory. His appointment further reinforces ONDC’s commitment to the Government of India’s vision of “Digital Commerce for All”.
With a longstanding career in trade leadership and public welfare, Singhi is expected to bring both strategic insight and grassroots understanding to the organisation’s ongoing work in digital commerce.
