Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) has announced that its current Chief Operating Officer (COO) and President, Vibhor Jain, will assume the role of acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with immediate effect.
The company took to LinkedIn and announced his appointment. “Congratulations to Vibhor Jain on taking additional charge as the Acting CEO of ONDC, while continuing in his role as COO & President – Network Governance”, the LinkedIn post read.
Vibhor has been instrumental in shaping ONDC’s operational and strategic journey. As we enter a new chapter, we look forward to his leadership in driving our mission to democratize digital commerce across India.
Vibhor Jain is a seasoned leader with over 18 years of experience in entrepreneurship & consulting. His expertise lies in designing & delivering technology-driven population-scale transformation programs and building disruptive Internet businesses.
Earlier in April, Thampy Koshy, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at ONDC, stepped down from his role. In March, ONDC's Chief Business Officer, Shireesh Joshi quit after a three and half year long stint with the organisation.
