- Bajaj Electricals has appointed Krishnan Sundaram as Chief Growth & New Business Officer, effective August 11, 2026, following approval from the company's board of directors.
- Sundaram has been designated as Senior Management Personnel and has a background in marketing and category management with over 20 years of experience.
- He previously worked at Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL), where he held various roles, including VP & Business Head of Functional Nutrition, overseeing the integration of GSK's consumer brands.
- Before joining Bajaj Electricals, Sundaram served as CEO of Vini Cosmetics after leaving HUL in 2024.
Bajaj Electricals has appointed Krishnan Sundaram as its Chief Growth & New Business Officer, effective 11 August 2026.
The appointment was approved by the company's board of directors at its meeting held on Thursday. Sundaram has also been designated as a Senior Management Personnel, the company said in a regulatory filing.
After an early career as a management trainee, Sundaram spent the next ~2 decades in various roles in marketing and category management (with P&L responsibility) across categories like Detergents, Tea and Nutrition (the acquired Horlicks business). He left HUL in 2024 and after a brief break joined KKR owned Vini Cosmetics as CEO.
In his last role at HUL, he was the VP & Business Head, Functional Nutrition (Horlicks, etc.) which he took over when HUL was in the process of completing the purchase of GSK's consumer business (brands such as Horlicks, Boost etc.) and led the 4500-crore end to end P&L, including its integration into HUL.
