KFC, Pizza Hut operator reappoints Manish Dawar as Whole-time Director (President & CEO)

Devyani International Limited, operator of KFC and Pizza Hut, has approved the reappointment of Manish Dawar as Whole-time Director (President & CEO) for a further three-year term, subject to shareholder approval.
The decision was taken at a Board meeting held on 15 May 2026, according to a regulatory filing.
Dawar’s new term will be effective from 17 February 2027, following approval at the company’s Annual General Meeting. He has earlier worked with Hindustan Unilever Limited, Reebok India, Reckitt Benckiser, Vedanta and Vodafone India.
Additionally, the company appointed Gaurav Bhatnagar as Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer – India, effective 25 May 2026.
It also changed the designation of Pradeep Das to Chief Growth & International Business Officer, with effect from the same date. Both executives will continue as part of the senior management team.
