StarSight, an affiliate of Starcom, has been roped in to handle the outdoor business of travel website MakeMyTrip.com. The website is doing some outdoor campaigns around the domestic airport in Delhi, for which they wanted to focus on the lowest airfare guarantee logo, designed by Leo Burnett. This logo has gone in all their earlier outdoor communication as well.

Ankur Rastogi, Outdoor Business Director, StarSight, said, “We understood the client’s desire of promoting the “lowest airfare guarantee” and worked out an all new punchline that complimented an innovation executed on a billboard. This innovation by StarSight was very well received by the client as they felt it created a buzz about MakeMyTrip.com’s USP.”

He further said that MakeMyTrip.com had a standard creative, which went across all mediums. “We did a few outdoors for them in Bangalore and Mumbai. The message we wanted to register on people’s minds was that in order to get the lowest airfares logon to MakeMyTrip.com,” Rastogi added.

“We are going to take this outdoors campaign to other cities as well. In Delhi, we have put up hoardings in a few bus shelters, at the DND Highway and in Gurgaon. We are using huge hoardings, billboards, mobile vans, etc, as mediums to drive home the message. The outdoor medium has the flexibility and the tenure is longer compared to other mediums,” Rastogi pointed out.
