Puneet Gupta joins Amazon as Director, Head of Amazon Devices India

Puneet Gupta has been appointed as Director, Head of Amazon Devices India at Amazon. As per his LinkedIn update, he took up the new role this month, i.e. June 2026.
In this role, he will lead the AI-enabled devices business in India, including Alexa with Echo, Fire TV, and Kindle.
Prior to this, he was Executive Vice President (Founding Team) and Senior Vice President at IBO. Before that, he had worked at Amazon as Category Leader – Apparel.
During his professional career of over 20 years, Gupta has led diverse consumer-tech businesses of FMCG (Unilever, Big Bazaar), Fashion (Jabong, Amazon) and Home Improvement (IBO).
