Star Plus turns RED with Alia Bhatt

During the IPL finale evening on Sunday, Star India unveiled a new look for its flagship Hindi general entertainment channel Star Plus. The channel’s new look has a new brand promise of ‘Rishta wahi baat nayi’.
Star has roped in actor Alia Bhatt as the face of the new brand identity. The new logo is red in colour and has the trademark swoosh in golden.
To strengthen the brand promise, Star Plus plans to start some new shows. Dil Hai Hindustani Season2, Qayamat Ki Raat and Sabse Smart Kaun are some of the shows that are set to release soon. Also, the channel recently launched two shows-- Mariam Reporting Live (May 21) and Krishna Chali London.
In 2016, Star Plus had launched its ‘Nayi Soch’ campaign through a brand initiative with BCCI. Centered around women, it questions various societal stereotypes that hold women back. The TV campaign was unveiled on October 16 during the India- New Zealand ODI series.
