Star Plus continues to lead Hindi GEC Urban market in BARC Week 21

According to BARC data, DD National's ‘Shri Krishna’ leads in both urban and overall markets

In week 21, Dangal continued to lead the top ten channel list in Hindi GEC (U+R). The channel registered 1208418 (000s) impressions followed by Star PLus on second spot with 783816 (000s) impressions and Big Magic on third spot with 700398 (000s) Impressions. Sony Sab and DD National bagged fourth and fifth spot with 694926 (000s) impressions and 436735 (000s) impressions respectively.

In the top programme list of this week, DD National’s Shri Krishna was the most watched show. The show registered 20423 (000s) impressions followed by Dangal’s Baba Aiso Var Dhundo and Mahima Shanidev Ki on second and third spot with 17024(000s) impressions and 13535 (000s) impressions respectively. Star Plus’ Mahabharat bagged fourth spot with 11650 (000s) impressions and Dangal’s Ramayan on fifth spot with 10637 (000s) impressions.

Hindi GEC Urban

Star Plus continued to be the most watched channel in week 21 in Hindi GEC Urban market. The channel registered 536031(000s) impressions followed by Sony Sab on second spot with 461800 (000s) impressions and Colors on third with 311535 (000s) impressions. Dangal and Sony Entertainment Television stood at number four and five with 279067 (000s) and 261602 (000s) impressions.

In top five programmes, DD National’s Shri Krishna bagged first spot with 10837 (000s) impressions followed by Star Plus’ Mahabharat on second spot with 7881 (000s) impressions and DD Bharati’s Vishnu Puran on third spot with 4079 (000s)impressions. Devon Ke Dev Mahadev on Star Plus and Baba Aiso Var Dhundo on Dangal bagged fourth and fifth position with 3863 (000s) impressions and  3470 (000s) impressions respectively.

Hindi GEC Rural

Dangal continued to lead the rural market with 929350 (000s) impressions followed by Big Magic on second spot with 536641 (000s) impressions and Star Plus on third spot with 247785 (000s) impressions. Sony Sab and DD National bagged fourth and fifth spot with  233126 (000s) and 205530 (000s) impressions.

In top five programmes, Dangal’s Baba Aiso Var Dhundo ranked number one with 13555 (000s) followed by Mahima Shanidev ki on same channel with 10473 (000s) impressions and DD National Shri Krihsna on third with 9587 (000s) impressions.

Dangal’s two show Ramayan and Rakt Sambandh bagged fourth and fifth with 8275 and 7031 (000s) impressions.
