Rahul Johri has stepped down as BCCI CEO. He had put down his papers after the Supreme Court-appointed Committee of Administrators (CoA) made way for the Sourav Ganguly-led set-up the run the world's richest cricket board.
According to media reports, Johri decided to quit last December after BCCI elected a new administratin led by Ganguly. Johri was to exit in April but continued and amidst lack of clarity over whether he had been given an extension.
Johri joined BCCI in 2016. Prior to that, he was Executive Vice President and GM South Asia at Discovery Networks Asia Pacific.
