In a minor but notable reshuffle of its prime time programming, NDTV has adjusted the time slots of two of its flagship shows, effectively swapping their positions in the evening line-up.

Starting Monday, The Buck Stops Here, hosted by Managing Editor Padmaja Joshi, will now air at 8 PM. The change was confirmed by Joshi herself on social media, where she announced the new timing for the show.

Correspondingly, India Matters, anchored by Managing Editor Shiv Aroor, will shift to the 9 PM slot on weeknights. Aroor also shared the update via his official social media handle, indicating the revised timing for his show.

The move effectively results in a swap of the two programmes within NDTV’s prime time band. Both shows remain key components of the channel’s evening news and analysis offering, led by senior editorial leadership.

The changes appear to be part of a broader primetime tweak. While the shift does not alter the content positioning of either show, it reflects a recalibration of scheduling within a competitive primetime news environment, where time slots play a critical role in viewership dynamics and audience retention.
