The series is hosted by a young visionary Kailashnath Adhikari, Managing Director, Governance Now.

In episode 12 of Governance Now Visionary Talks Series, Manish Tewari, former I&B Minister and Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha, will talk about Congress's existential crisis and the role of responsible media.

The session will be held on September 18 at 1PM.

Manish Tewari is an Indian lawyer and politician. He is a member of the Indian National Congress and represents Anandpur Sahib in the 17th Lok Sabha. He was the Minister of Information and Broadcasting from 2012 to 2014 and a Member of Parliament from Ludhiana from 2009 to 2014.

The Covid-19 pandemic has gripped the entire world, and India now stands as the second-most affected nation with the surge in the court of daily cases. Tewari will talk about how he sees Covid-19 revival packages and plans of the government and what different could congress have done in such a situation?

Media being the fourth pillar of democracy and in the time of crises, he will share his views on news outfits playing their part well? Can news today's time be looked upon as unbiased free from driving any specific narrative?
